On behalf of both The SWD and Jo Malone, we'd like to thank everyone who came along to the Readers Evenings in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Both were sell-out events and a resounding success, for the third year running. The events, which took place in the respective Jo Malone stores, were attended by brides-to-be who enjoyed hand and arm massages, canapés and Champagne, plus tips and ideas on how to scent their weddings.

Bridal designer Rachel Scott showcased her most fabulous dresses at the Edinburgh event, and staff from Glasgow bridal salon Anne Priscilla were on hand at the event in the west, displaying some beautiful gowns of their own. Also on hand at both events was top florist Posing Petals, with a range of fantastic flower arrangements and bouquets to inspire even the most floral-phobic bride. It was brilliant to have three of Scotland's finest wedding suppliers offering brides-to-be some invaluable advice on planning.

At each event one lucky winner went home with a fantastic raffle prize, a huge Jo Malone gift box. The lucky winners were Lianne Wehnert and Freda Cullen. Congratulations to you both!
