"Even though it's a castle it felt so homely and welcoming and we both fell totally in love with the place and it was actually surprisingly easy to get to. It had everything; The fairytale church, a fantastic ballroom, enough accommodation for all our guests, all very tastefully decorated and best of all, total exclusivity. Perfect!"

"Our venue was the most accommodating for our specific requirements.  Particularly around number of guests, layout of the room and it was one of the few hotels that would allow us to bring in our own caterers, it had the grandeur that we were looking for and it was in an ideal location in the centre of Edinburgh. We also wanted a one stop venue that would allow us to have our ceremony and reception in the same place."

"The venue staff were fantastic. They were very helpful with suggestions of caterers, pipers and wine choices - we went along for a wine tasting one afternoon. They were very relaxed and happy to help. There were cottages on the site for family and friends who had travelled up from the south as well. They had real fires and were very cosy and convenient."

"We spent many weekends in this hotel and quite simply loved the service and the standard of the food. The location was what Stephen always wanted out in the country. We wanted somewhere that could hold the service and a huge marquee, We knew we would be in safe hands with Anne and Jack Peters being the owners."

"When Alan and I first got together Alan went climbing near Eilean Donan Caste and phoned me to tell me it was the most romantic place he'd ever been to. So on our next trip we visited the castle and I fell in love with it. So we planned our wedding at Eilean Donan Castle and contacted Scott and Iona at Loch Ness Lodge to see if they could cater for us and accommodate both our families. Fortunately they said yes!"
