Default Cartland Bridge House Hotel

Any other Cartland brides? I've yet to find someone else who's planning their wedding here.

I've seen wedding pictures of family friends who got married there last year but I've never been to a wedding myself. Has anyone been to a wedding here or getting married there themselves?

One of my best friends got married there in April and it was absolutely amazing! They had their ceremony in the conservatory which was set up beautifully then afterwards they cleared it out for photos. She's recently just got her wedding album back and the photos from there are lovely, there's so many places. They got photos taken coming down the big staircase, at the front door (which in the photos actually looked like a church entrance), in the conservatory, in the gardens and in front of the master fireplace.

The meal was brilliant too and the staff seemed really helpful. They let us go in the day before to set up the tables too which was good. They've also got plenty of rooms for guests to stay (which we did!) and the bar area is good for while your hanging around after the service. Guests pretty much had free reign of the hotel!

The whole day has totally inspired me & my h2b for ours, as originally we were going to get married in a church then go on to the reception (bothwell bridge) but we had such an amazing day at Cartland that we're going to have our whole thing at Bothwell. Was just so good being in the same place all day.

I can't wait now! That's put my mind at ease!!

We're getting married in October next year so I think the fireplace would look great in photos.
