Believe it or not, the style of wedding dresses do change from season to season and this will reflect what’s available in the salons when you go shopping.

Whether you’re a fashionista or not, its good to know what this season’s trends are, if only to know what to expect from the world of wedding dresses. Currently in vogue is dresses with ruffles, waves and overlapping fabrics. Strapless dresses, often worn with shoulder shrugs or wraps for the ceremony are still predominant, and gathered waist detailing is both popular and flattering. Lace is still big news but the focus is now firmly on waists; choose from a high-waisted empire line or vintage-style drop waist and you can’t go wrong.
