Terms & Conditions

Standard competition rules apply: Competition entries must be received no later than 30 March 2008 when the competition closes. The winner will be notified by post within 14 days of this date, and the name of the winner will be posted on our website. The wedding reception prize is based on the basic wedding package of whichever hotel is chosen. The hotel’s wedding planner will assist the winner in upgrading and any additional guests that may be required at the winner’s own expense. Prize as stated and subject to availability. Travel is not included.  Any additional spend must be paid for in full prior to arrival. Dates are subject to availability and all prizes must take place by 1 June 2009. If the winner cannot hold the event by the date specified the prize will be forfeited in its entirety. The competition will be organised directly with Macdonald Hotels and Resorts and standard wedding terms and conditions set by Macdonald Hotels and Resorts will apply. The Scottish Wedding Directory will accept no liability for any of the prize arrangements. In addition to this any additional expenses must be settled prior to departure. The winner must agree to PR activity surrounding their wedding. There is no cash alternative. The Editor’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
